Todays PHARISEES struggle in the same 6 areas:

The pharisization process:

The New Pharisee today suffers from the same spiritual pride that the Pharisees did at the time of Christ.

This pride begins to create social cliques where today’s Pharisees separate from those they deem inferior.

Next, the New Pharisee creates spiritual boxes where they compartmentalize their outward “holiness” which then leads to a performance mentality of vanity under the guise of “godly maturity” yet they only do these to impress people, not the Lord.

These boxes allow them to add certain rules to the Word of God that they claim are from Scripture, but really they are unscriptural.

Those who oppose these rules are harshly dealt with in abusive ways until they “learn their lesson.”

What if we all have a little bit of the new pharisee still inside us?

Jesus warned his 12 closest followers to “WATCH OUT FOR THE LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES!” (Matthew 16:6) Don’t you think that could possible include those of us who call ourselves Christians, or Christian ministers?

This book was written to help us get rid of The New Pharisee – within us!
